We are very pleased to announce that Spangler Seedtech has developed a new long term relationship with AgVenture, Inc., headquartered in Kentland, Indiana. AgVenture is currently the largest network of independently owned regional seed companies in the United States. AgVenture provides a growing network of independently owned and managed seed companies with seed products meeting exacting standards for quality, together with leading-edge genetics and technology.
The new alignment with AgVenture does not change the company’s ownership, management or personnel. It allows Spangler Seedtech to plug into a bigger network, while allowing us to maintain independence. We will continue seed production at Jefferson while also accessing the AgVenture production network.
Changes in the seed business are happening at a staggering pace. Several seed companies have elected to sell their business to major technology developers, thus limiting their future offerings of traits and genetics. Through our new alliance, we have access to AgVenture’s broader portfolio of genetics and technologies, regardless of where they were developed.
